Autograph sessions are the same the world over. Fans line up. The star signs something. And the fans go home. But when NBA all-star Dwight Howard came to Manila, we needed to create an event that was as unpredictable as Dwight is, on and off the court. INSTEAD of THE USUAL (AND BORING) autograph session, we created a special basketball with tracking technology, so that Howard could sign autographs in a unique way: by dribbling past fans. With a minimal budget and only 2 weeks of prep time, we turned a run-of-the-mill celebrity promo appearance into an unforgettable branded event.
